From Mission Belles...

This Saturday we are having a Valentine's luncheon at a local golf course restaurant, complete with Red Hat table cloths made by myself & our Histerian. I am having two of my ladies do a skit on 'The Language Of The Fan', & in keeping with that, I have made a dozen small fans as decorations to go along with the hearts & cupids for Valentines.  We always do 2 pen & pencil games & this time I've whomped up "Cupid's Questions", & another I named "Lies, lies, all lies..."  For that, I made up a grid with each members name in one square.  We take turns standing, announcing who we are, & state 3 things about ourselves.  Two are true, & one will be a lie.  Everyone is to decide which is the lie, & accordingly put it in that particular square.  The winners receive ~~~ a fan.  (Went to Chinatown in Van. & bought up quite a swat of them.)

From The Red Hot Divas...

We all went to lunch at the Summerhill Winery overlooking the Okanagan Lake. When we arrived, as several members were bringing guests to this event, everyone was given a name tag and found their name already on a pace-card. It was decided that the guests already knew the person who brought them so we'd mix them up so they could meet the rest of us. Must have worked as all 5 guests joined that day. The Vintner and staff were impressed by all these ladies in red hats having so much fun that they offered us a free  wine tasting and tour after our lunch. Our Queen Mother made up little "goodie" bags decorated with hearts and red ribbon. Each bag contained cinnamon hearts and chocolates etc. so that we could "nibble" on sweets while waiting for lunch, as is only proper for Red Hat Ladies don't you think?
